How FixxWorx handles personal information and customer business data under South African POPIA principles.

FixxWorx Software Privacy Policy

FixxWorx Software respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013, of South Africa. This policy applies to fixxworx.co.za, Artisan Plus, SkoonSys and related FixxWorx online services.
1. Information we collect
- Name and surname
- Business name
- Email address and contact number
- Billing and EFT payment reference information
- Login details, user roles and permissions
- Company records, clients, job cards, quotes, invoices and payments in Artisan Plus
- Cleaning schedules, inspections, QR records, reports and quality records in SkoonSys
- Technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information and login activity

- Register customer accounts
- Provide access to Artisan Plus and SkoonSys
- Manage subscriptions and manual EFT activation
- Provide customer support
- Improve reliability and security
- Keep audit records
- Comply with applicable laws
3. Customer business data
Customer business data remains the property of the customer. FixxWorx only processes customer data to provide, maintain, secure and support the software service.
4. POPIA lawful processing
FixxWorx aims to process personal information lawfully, fairly and only for a specific business purpose. We do not intentionally collect more information than is reasonably required to provide the service.
5. Data storage
Customer data may be stored on hosting infrastructure used by FixxWorx for the operation of its websites and SaaS platforms. FixxWorx takes reasonable steps to protect stored information against loss, unauthorised access, misuse, alteration or disclosure.
6. Sharing of information
FixxWorx does not sell customer personal information. We may share information only where necessary with hosting providers, email service providers, technical support providers, legal advisers, or legal and regulatory authorities where required by law.
7. User rights
Customers and users may request access, correction, deletion where legally and operationally possible, export of business data, or objection to certain processing activities. Requests may be sent to info@fixxworx.co.za.
8. Retention
FixxWorx keeps information only for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain audit records and support business operations.
9. Security
FixxWorx uses reasonable technical and organisational security measures, including password protection, user roles, tenant separation, audit logs and access controls. No online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
10. Breach notification
If FixxWorx becomes aware of a security incident that may affect customer personal information, FixxWorx will take reasonable steps to investigate, reduce harm and notify affected parties where required by law.
